Bedding for our Big Girl!

Claire will be moving up to a "big girl" bed and room soon. I found this bedding on Ebay but didn't bid soon enough and missed the day it was up. I emailed her and no more will be available until late December. I was hoping that I could get this for a Christmas present for Claire. Has anyone seen this bedding anywhere? It reminds me of a picture that would be in a JCPenny's catalog or something like that. I've check and it's not JCPenny's. I want to do this bedding because I'd like to paint polka dots on her walls. Please help me! Please ask around and see if anyone is familiar with this!

So, I'm super exhausted (shouldn't even be on here) but we had a good day. We drove to Stapleton (about 2 hours away) so that my high school classmate could take Claire's pictures. Our friends, Kim and Sayge went too so they could get her pictures taken so it was nice to have them with us. We took "Christmas card" pictures in Christmas pj's, thanks to the idea of my friend Kim, with Christmas decorations and cookies and milk with a letter to Santa. The other 2 outfits that I took for her to wear are super cute too. Mostly pink, green, and brown (my fav's). We tried a few outside pics but that darn wind was cutting through them like a knife. CAN'T WAIT TO SEE THE PICS!!!! Melody (my classmate) does such a wonderful job! She took our pics last year and I just couldn't NOT got back. I'm sure we will make the trip again next year.......but with another child to get ready!!!! Great! Hope it's a boy so I don't have to worry about fixing his hair! :) I'll be posting some of the new pics from today's adventure as soon as they are available to me! Can't wait to share them!

Okay! Just have to put in my worried thoughts from today's big vote.......I'm really worried about what's going to happen with our future. Not so much for myself but for my children. It's amazing how when you have kids, you really start thinking about the future and how it will affect them. So, I'm sure some of you voted for Obama, but I'm just really worried. What's going to happen? I'm not much for discussing politics because I don't know enough to stand on my own in a discussion but I just want to share that I will be wondering and worrying about what's to come. I guess all we can do is pray that Obama will be the best president for our wonderful country.

Our Little Claire Bear!

We had a great Halloween this year! Claire informed me that she wasn't going to be a CareBear, she was going to be a ClaireBear. Everyone at daycare calls her ClaireBear so it fit perfectly. Our friends, Ryan, Kim, and Sayge, came up to Amherst to go trick-or-treating with us and we all had a lot of fun and got a TON of candy.......*JUST WHAT EVERY PREGNANT LADY WANTS!!!!*

Me With Straight Hair

So, last Friday we had a day off school and I went for the normal haircut and color. My stylist, Gina, got done and said she had some time left and wanted to know if she could try straightening my hair. I said sure! I've always wondered what I would look like with straight hair but didn't figure it would look fancy or even remotely cute. Boy was I surprised!!!!! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVED it! I went out and bought a flat iron right after I left the salon and tried it out myself. Right now, it's taking me forever. The first time it took me an hour and a half, YUCK! I'm not much into spending that much time on my hair, so I haven't done it again since the weekend. I need more sleep instead of getting up and doing my hair before school. These kids don't really care anyways! Well, I wanted to share a picture of it with you. This is what it looked like after Gina did it. I wasn't able to get the heigth on the top like she did but it still looks cute when I do it myself.

Just getting started

So, the new thing is to set up a blog to keep everyone informed of what is going on in our lives......this is my beginning of the world of The Kreutzer Family Blog. Hope it goes well and that everyone enjoys.
